  1. Introduction Welcome to the Olive Branch website. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.
  2. Website Features Our website provides information about Olive Branch, including a careers page, flyer page, and the option to subscribe to our newsletter. We also offer a loyalty app with gift card functionality, which is governed by these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Loyalty App The Olive Branch loyalty app acts as a digital loyalty card. Customers can add money to their gift cards at in-store cash registers. The app itself does not accept payments. Gift cards are subject to store policies regarding usage and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
  4. Shipping and Delivery We may send physical promotional items to addresses collected through the app. Additionally, Olive Branch offers a delivery service for in-store shoppers to have their groceries delivered. In case of damaged goods, customers can return the items for a replacement.
  5. Returns and Refunds
    1. In-Store Purchases
      1. General Policy: Olive Branch accepts returns of non-perishable, unopened, and unused items within 24 hours of purchase with the original receipt. The item must be in its original condition and packaging.
      2. Exceptions: The following items are not eligible for return or refund: Perishable goods (including fresh produce, dairy, and prepared foods), Alcoholic beverages, Lottery tickets, Floral arrangements, Baked goods, Opened or damaged items, Custom or special orders, Items marked as “Final Sale”, Gift cards
    2. Delivery Service
      1. Damaged or Incorrect Items: If items delivered to your address are damaged or incorrect, please contact Olive Branch customer service within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund based on the original method of payment.
      2. Perishable Items: For perishable items, any concerns regarding quality or spoilage must be reported immediately upon receipt. Refunds or replacements will be issued at Olive Branch’s discretion.
    3. Gift Cards
      1. Gift cards purchased or loaded at Olive Branch are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.
    4. How to Return Items
      1. In-Store Returns Only: To return an item purchased in-store or delivered, please visit any Olive Branch location with the item and your receipt.
  6. User Conduct Users must not engage in abusive behavior or unauthorized commercial use of the website or its content. Olive Branch reserves the right to restrict access to any user who violates these terms.
  7. Content Ownership All content on the Olive Branch website, including images, logos, and text, is owned by Olive Branch. Unauthorized use or reproduction of our content is prohibited.
  8. Limitation of Liability Olive Branch is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our website, including service outages, errors in promotional materials, or issues with the loyalty app. Use of the website is at your own risk.
  9. Changes to Terms and Conditions Olive Branch reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  10. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of the website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.
  11. Checkout for Change Program
    1. Program Overview
      1. Under Olive Branch’s Checkout for Change program, we will donate 1% of a shopper’s pre-tax total to the charity of their choice. This donation is made by Olive Branch and does not result in any additional charge to the shopper.
    2. Charity Selection
      1. During App Sign-Up: Shoppers can select their preferred charity during the app sign-up process. If a charity is not on our pre-approved list, shoppers can request that the charity apply to join our list by visiting olivebranchthornhill.ca/change.
      2. Opting Out: If a shopper does not select a charity during the sign-up process, they will be automatically opted out of the program, and Olive Branch will retain the 1% of that shopper’s pre-tax total. No donation will be made for that purchase.
    3. Charity Eligibility
      1. Canadian Registered Charities: Only Canadian registered charities with a valid charity number are eligible to participate in the Checkout for Change program.
      2. Application Process: Charities wishing to join the program must apply through our website at olivebranchthornhill.ca/change. Olive Branch reserves the right to approve or deny any charity application at our discretion.
      3. List Updates: The list of approved charities will be reviewed and updated quarterly or as deemed necessary by Olive Branch.
    4. Donation Payments
      1. Donations to the selected charities will be made by Olive Branch at intervals determined by the company. The timing of these payments will be at Olive Branch’s discretion.
    5. Program Changes
      1. Olive Branch reserves the right to modify or terminate the Checkout for Change program at any time, including adjustments to the list of eligible charities, the donation percentage, or the donation process.
